Restored Quilt

My client's relative hand pieced this quilt, and passed away over 40 years ago.  My client wanted this quilt repaired where it was falling apart and enlarged to fit a king size bed.

I had to pick all of the navy blue fabric out and replace it before I could begin.

 Replaced all of the navy with light blue fabric.  I also added a gray inner border and a light blue outer border.

 This quilt was pieced by hand and no it was not flat.

 This was after quilting with three sisters abundant feathers digital photograph design.
